Whey Protein Benefits – Personal Experiences from Synergize

Whey is the way to go in the 21st century if you are living in Pakistan. Synergize.pk is Pakistan’s well-known brand when it comes to buying whey protein in Pakistan or other nutritional supplements online. I, being part of Synergize.pk lead team, have been working out for the last 10 years and have mastered the way to take whey and the benefits associated with it. You can get the body of your dreams if you maintain a diet that is rich in whey protein. Whether your goal is to gain weight, trimming your body or maintaining it you can take whey protein in all scenarios of your health regime. Whey protein can help in muscle recover and help improve your strength and stamina. There are different forms of whey protein ranging from whey protein concentrate, whey protein isolate, and hydro or hydrolyzed whey protein. All have benefits on their own and one should take different forms of whey in order to achieve different health goals.

While I use to take all 3 types of whey protein in Pakistan when I was in mass gain mode a few months ago I always prefer taking whey protein isolate before my workouts to fuel my body quickly. Why WPI? WPI digest pretty quickly so even if I take it on my way towards Gym, my body is able to digest is pretty quickly and hence help in stronger workouts. While during the day, I take HWP that helps me replenish any loss muscle or repair and muscle damage that may happen during workouts. Whey protein price in Pakistan can be quite confusing as there are many retailers who are offering various prices, but selecting one which offers the right price and product is also crucial as supplements are something that can improve or ruin your health.

This combination of whey protein throughout the day helps my body never run out of nutrients and help me recover muscle faster and stronger.

Above were my opinions and below are the theories behind all three types of whey protein powders available in the market:

Whey protein concentrate (WPC):

The amount of protein in WPC can vary between 25-89% (usually about 80% in commercial products). The rest of the product consists of lactose (4-8%), fat, minerals, and moisture. This form of whey tends to digest over a period of about 1-2 hours it’s a good one to have through the course of a day or before bed as your body is not starving for the stuff.

Whey Protein Isolate (WPI):

Whey protein Isolate which is also known as WPI is one of the purest forms of whey protein and contain approximately ninety to ninety-five percent protein content. During filtering and extraction, all non-protein content is separated which gives it the 95% purity level. This makes it ideal for it to be used just after a workout, as the body need that protein content to replenish any lost levels.

Hydrolyzed Whey Protein (HWP):

Not an old form of protein as this new form is changing the way of whey. HWP which is known as hydrolyzed whey protein is the purest form of whey protein available in the market. With only a few brands such as optimum nutrition and Dymatize providing this form of protein, they are considered to be a monopoly of Hydrolyzed whey protein. Hydrolyzed whey protein is actually broken down from long protein chains to shorter ones that is called peptides and which is easy to digest which makes it best for post workout supplementation.
